Ah, it has been so long since I had something to share with on Paint Party Friday. But this week, I’ve rediscovered my arty mojo and have dived back in. So I have a work-in-progress to share.
‘You are loved’ is a painting I have had in the works for some time. Which translated means, I slapped on a background, built a concept and then stashed it on a shelf for six months before picking it up again this week 😀
Perhaps my first true mixed media piece – fluid acrylics, regular gel medium, glazing medium, beads, baubles, glitter, sparkly gem things, clear granule gel medium and I just this morning added some heavy gel medium on the heart shape to give it a third dimension.
It still has a way to go, but I’m having fun doing it and feeling my way into thecomposition as I go.
