I’ve been missing this entire week, mostly due to illness, though I will admit to a little obsessiveness regarding the new Avengers movie and the need to rewatch Ironman several times (when you only have an hour and a half to yourself each day on average, it can get spent really quickly and frivously when you’re feeling a little down).
But just to let you all know that I’m still alive, here’s a quick heads up for the two challenges I’m hoping to combine in June. I’m new to both of these (links in the images above), but they look fun and should have me posting every day, and hopefully creating everyday in some form or another (I have to, I have far too many WIPs sitting around here that I need to finish). Anyone who would like to join me in either of these endeavours, jump in, I’d love to have company, it makes it more fun.
Also, in the next few weeks, I’m hoping to revive my artist interview series – Inspired People. I’ve met a whole bunch of new fabulous artist peeps just recently, and I would love to share their goodness with everyone I know, so keep an eye out for some new interviews.
And in July I will be hosting my first in-person art workshop! I’ll be doing bubble painting with children…details to follow once the publicity goes live. I’m excited. A new direction for me as an artist…a real artist! I’m hoping the experience will lead me to do some adult based activities with some of the techniques I’ve been playing with.
As for May’s challenge of 29 faces…let’s face it (pun intended :D) I knew I was never going to make it to the 29. I think I might have nine faces in total so far? I will post the remainder here tomorrow night. Although I haven’t made it anywhere near the goalposts, I’ve certainly had fun playing the game and it was definitely worthwhile. Though I’m beginning to wonder about the source of the wacky creations coming out of my pencil over the last couple of days…I guess I’ll have to blame it on the nasty cold, the migraine or the other annoying health issues that have been bugging me for the past five days.
Anyways, I will hopefully be back to posting regularly again, starting tomorrow. I may hardly have a voice, but my fingers still work!
Best wishes,
Liz

So excited that you are doing the 30 days of Creativity too.
This is my 2nd year and I am already thinking of some of the things I want to try.
So sorry you haven’t been well. I have missed you and have been thinking of you.
