The moment I discovered kumihimo, I wanted to play with it. I have since created several kinds of jewellery by combining it with Chinese knotting and beadweaving.

Crochet
I discovered hand-dyed yarn through a venture into crochet. I suddenly had all this gorgeous yarn and wanted to play with it and explore how I could emphasize those lovely colours.

Needlepoint
Needlepoint is quiet stitching where the holes are already made, you just need to choose the right one. I love the rhythm and the geometric patterns that result along with some gorgeous textures and colour displays. I have made many different types of jewellery, creating both patterns and unique pieces.

Bargello Pincushions
I had been wanting to try bargello for a while and was so happy when I was able to create my first finished product using this technique. I’m looking into writing up some patterns for this fun little project.
