These are one of my first needlepoint designs. They’ve been popular and they are fun to make. They are available as earrings, bag tags, and even stitch markers – just need to tweak the pattern for the bigger or smaller sizes.
The colour changes in hand-dyed yarn can make for a gorgeous variations of this pattern. I often use it to get a good feel for a new yarn, and you can change the design using the same yarn but just playing the colours differently.
They are one of my core patterns and some can usually be found in the shop for sale.
