Blink and it is a month since I posted. May was, well, May was nuts. A combination of work crazy, health hiccups and an art stall (not the market kind – the drat it, art is not happening kind!)
But I do have some show and tell.
First up is the source of my art stall and stagnate because it was taking sooooo long. Still waiting for me to return to it and I really want to get it done – it just takes sooo long! ::insert childish whining here::
And I’m stuck at about half way around. I must return to it as I think it is going to be a good finished product.
In the meantime, Hubby challenged me to do an entire painting in one evening, so during the next three and a half hours this happened…
So there is one completed painting for May. Of course, then I went completely off track and thought I could recreate the speed in which I created The Gift. Not so much. But the following did happen.
And there is a third sketch in development – just as soon I manage to create ‘cute’ rather than ‘strangely ugly and possessed’, I’ll post it up here 😀
The first one is currently on my easel.
And I’m hoping to do a little more work on it in the next couple of days.
So yeah, there has been art, but little in the way of finished art, aargh. I need to up my game….as there is a big event happening in October 😀
I’m way too late for Paint Party Friday last week, but I might link it in this coming Friday, so in any case, don’t forget to visit all the great artists over there.

Love the hand, but I am overawed by that orange, yellow, red piece at the first of the post. Even if it take years to do, finish it because it is truly wonderful.
