Product Description
Handmade from hand-dyed yarn, Japanese seed beads and Swarovski crystals.
Kumihimo is a Japanese braiding technique. Here I have created a braid from Australian-grown merino wool, hand-dyed in Australia, and used it as a base for bead-weaving and bead embroidery in order to showcase the gorgeous colours of the yarn.
The earrings are light to wear and appropriate for both casual and formal settings. Currently with surgical steel ear wires, but these can be replaced to personal preference – please contact me if you have specific requirements.
This design is part of my Cherry Blossoms and Fuchsia Collection, focussing on pinks, purples and golds. If you would prefer another colour combination, I have created others in different colours, but please contact me if you have a particular preference.
